4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Present Perfect Continuous Tense is used:
- For the action that started in past and is still continued.
- It is combination of Present Perfect and Present Continuous Tense.
Affirmative Structure:
Subject + Auxiliary (Helping) Verb + Main Verb (ing Form) + Object
Auxiliary Verb:
He, She, It, Name > "Has been"
I, You, They, We > "Have been"
Affirmative:
For Instance;
1. He has been playing Football.
2. She has been watching T.V.
3. Maheen has been eating Mango.
4. I have been drinking water.
5. You have been taking a Tea.
6. They have been visiting Sehwan Sharif.
7. We have been driving Benz.
Auxiliary (Helping) Verb:
He, She, It, Name > "Has been"
I, You, They, We > "Have been"
We can make Interrogative, Negative, and Interrogative Negative with the help of these Helping / Auxiliary Verbs.
Interrogative ( To ask question):
For Instance;
1. Has he been playing Football?
2. Has she been watching T.V?
3. Has Maheen been eating Mango?
4. Have i been drinking water?
5. Have you been taking a Tea?
6. Have they been visiting Sehwan Sharif?
7. Have we been driving Benz?
For Instance;
1. He has not been playing Football.
2. She has not been watching T.V.
3. Maheen has not been eating Mango.
4. I have not been drinking water.
5. You have not been taking a Tea.
6. They have not been visiting Sehwan Sharif.
7. We have not been driving Benz.
hasn't = has not
haven't = have not
Interrogative Negative ( To ask question while negating):
For Instance;
1. Has he not been playing Football?
2. Has she not been watching T.V?
3. Has Maheen not been eating Mango?
4. Have i not been drinking water?
5. Have you not been taking a Tea?
6. Have they not been visiting Sehwan Sharif?
7. Have we not been driving Benz?
