Simply, when you upload video to your account and it started to get views then each view can generate some money for you.
Google AdSense is publishers company which will monitor your account when ever some one open your video, Google AdSense will show him/her small advertising clip and will pay you for that clip.

Steps involved in Earning:

1. Create YouTube account if you have not.
- You can use your gmail to create YouTube account. After registration login to your account and at left column click on "MY CHANNEL" . create your channel first. Then upload your videos.
- Remember you can attract peoples by adding proper keywords to your channel. Simply go to "Advanced Setting" and add suitable keywords that match your account.

2. Upload Videos.
- Upload videos, add description in videos, add proper titles. upload regularly so that you can get regular audience, and tag your videos with keywords in order to drive people to your videos from search engine.

3. Advertise your Channel.
- You need audience to watch your videos in order to make money.  You can share your videos on social network like Facebook, Twitter, Google + and so on.
- Communicate with your audience by replying to their comments and feedback this will lead to reopen of that video and you can earn some extra.

4. Monetize your  Videos.
- In order to start earning money you need to monetize your videos, this means that Google AdSense will show ads in your video and pay you when ever some one watch it.
- Go to Channel > Monetization > Enable > Enable My Account > Accept the Terms and Submit.
- Then go to video manager and click on $ sign in order to enable Monetization for particular / selected video. DOne.
- You can also enable Monetization while uploading video by simply clicking on "Monetize Tab" and clicking on "Monetizing with Ads" Box.

5. Setup Google AdSense.
- go to google AdSense website https://www.google.com/adsense and create your account.
- you need to be 18 years old in order to get account, otherwise your family member can also help you to get AdSense account.
